Beware of Third-Party Posting Sites
I have been in the industry for 16 years and have made a name for myself by creating a brand-specific marketing Facebook group for RE/MAX. I have over 30,000 RE/MAX global agents in the group. Marketing is my jam!
That’s why I think the article published on the Florida Realtors® website, “Social Media Marketing for Small Business,” Valerie Belusko (floridarealtors.org/social-media-marketing) is a disservice to real estate professionals. Social media platforms are under-ranking posts (meaning they do not live in the news feeds as long) that are posted by third-party websites like Hootsuite.
Why? Because Facebook and Instagram have their own business suite. These platforms allow you to schedule posts on your personal profile. You can run ads, check your analytics and more, all on your personal page.
When you post using a third-party platform, you lose traction on your posts because the algorithm thinks your post lacks authenticity. These platforms want authentic, original content.
My goal is to empower our industry professionals with marketing methods that work and the psychology of marketing to create clear, concise and authentic brands for their businesses.
